You can easily make these fun little guys on skis or snowshoes! | ||
This is what you need: Pinecones |
. | This is what you do: 1. Glue a wooden bead to the top of a pinecone. The skier has a 1-inch round bead and the snowshoer has a 2-inch oblong bead. 2. Cut a chenille stem into three equal pieces. Slip one piece into the upper part of the pinecone. Wrap the ends around the front of the pinecone to create arms. 3. Glue craft-stick skis or ice-cream-spoon snowshoes to the bottom of the pinecone. 4. Make ski poles by slipping a button on the end of a toothpick. Put some glue on the end of the toothpick to keep the button from sliding off. Bend the chenille stem around the toothpick. 5. Use paint markers to draw the face. 6. Glue a pom-pom on top of the head or hat bead. 7. Glue a ribbon near the top of the pinecone for hanging or leave the ribbon off and use as a centerpiece on your dresser or table. If youd like, brush glue onto the pinecone and sprinkle with glitter. |
