One definition of Aspen’s eclectic ambiance is "messy vitality," a term that refers as much to the design of Aspen as to the makeup of its citizenry. Perhaps it is not the individuals, but rather the community that epitomizes the vital spirit of Aspen. People working together, at times anonymously, organizing events, volunteering, working in hospitals, raising money for charity and teaching our children is what really creates a sense of place and belonging. Celebrating community and its rewards, both past and present, are the focus of changing exhibits in this Gallery. | ||||||
