The Community Church
In 1891 the First Presbyterian Church completed the building of this Richardsonian Romanesque structure at a cost of $20,000. It features Peachblow sandstone blocks, steep roof, round towers, and beautiful stained glass windows. Extensive renovation work on the social rooms, the sanctuary and the exterior was completed in 1990. The largest organ on the Western slope has recently been added to the interior.
